Ex-Moderator | In my building. I had to use, like, 3 blankets last night. But the radiator just started kicking out heat.
It's 47 degrees outside right now. Yay fall. I swear, this is my best thread yet. |

I'd be freezing well into November before the landlord would turn on the heat. I remember some nights, I moved my sofa to the outside of my kitchen doorway because I had to turn my oven on to get as much heat as possible.

I don't understand.
There are actually devices inside a house designed to pump heat into it? It boggles the imagination.

It's actually cold here tonight. Not enough that I'll turn my heat on, but I did turn off the Air conditioning!
I love fall too. It will probably be 90 degrees again by next week.

I control my own heat in my apartment, but they turn it on in the cold months and off in the warm months to the whole building. They turned it on today, from here on out, I control it in my unit. |

I still boil water on occasion to help humidify the place when it's sooooo dry in winter. |

Ex-Moderator | I actually love the feeling of radiator heat. It feels all warm and toasty all of a sudden, but there's still that nip outside the window. |
