Yes, it is who they R being sold 2... a.k.a. the owners, and alot of fools out there still want 2 pit these dogs against each other, and train them 2 do so. It's even worse than that. You can't raise an American Bull Terrier (Pit Bull) with neglect, and without socialization with other dogs... so it's not just training them 2 fight and the abuse... neglect is also a problem, and that affects this breed dramatically.

They R naturally loving, affectionate, and loyal pets, unless they R abused.

No new ones, all ones living in the province must be fixed, all ones in the province in need of homes are adopted out and all need to be leashed and muzzled when off their property. Shit, if they called for the same thing for my little mutt - who hasn't hurt a fly - I'd be all for it. I'm on the side of the dog, not the rights of the owner. A dog that doesn't hurt someone else (no matter the breed) is a dog that will be not be slated to be destroyed.

I'm a pure-bred pug myself.
