I rested all evening but had a really hard time sleeping. I kept waking up with pressure headaches and such. So I called in today. My head is still all stuffy, I can barely hear as my ears are clogged up, etc.
I'm out of kleenex already, so I've been carrying a roll of toilet paper around the house with me.  And I'm still in my pajamas.
Do you feel pathetic when you're sick? I hate it.  One of my closest friends here at work always calls in the day after she is supposed to come back from vacation

I'm very pathetic when I'm sick.. I make too big of a deal about it and whine for attention... (eg. posting about it on the org...  )
I've had a small cold, stuffy nose, snotty throat for 3 weeks now and it sucks, but I've gotten used to it..

Do you feel pathetic when you're sick? I hate it. I feel quite pathetic. And if I have to call in sick from work, I feel guilty and pathetic. Most other folks can call in sick, even when not sick, with no problem. I sit home feeling like I'm letting my team down. So, in most cases, I have to be on my deathbed to call in. Unless, I'm naseous. Nausea just kicks my ass. I can do nothing but lie in a fetal position and whine incessantly. Come here. I'll take care of you.  | |
