Anyone else enjoying the new season so far? I think it's gotten off to a strong start...For those no longer following here's the lowdown

-NEW MYSTERY revolves around new neighbors, the wife Katherine played by Dana Delany (amazing casting) lived on the Lane 12 years before and turns out fled town with her young daughter who has absolutely no recolection of her life there as a kid. Katherine is back with a young husband whose a OBGYN.



-BREE and Katherine have already clashed twice as it is clear Katherine is in the running to take over as the 'Martha Stewert' of the neighborhood. The scenes between Bree and Katherine are even more delicious than the catty exchanges between Susuan and Edie in Season 1. Bree is also faking a pregancy from the ladies...her daughter Danielle got knocked up and Bree sent her away until the baby is born.

-LYNETTE has cancer and is going through cemo...not much else in this storyline so far....the marital problems with Tom have been put on hold for now

-SUSAN and Mike are finally married and just getting used to each other and Susan is pregnant. (my guess it's either Mikes baby or that British guy Ian she dated last season)

-GABRIELLE got married to the govener but found out he only married her because she's Latina and he was trying to win Latino votes. She's back at her old house and secretly having an affair with Carlos

-EDIE did not die in the suicide attempt and her character is if you asked me has grown to be pathetic...trying anything to keep Carlos with her...he paid a guy off to 'take care of it' last episode..dont know if he's a hitman or hired to get Edie to fall in love with him...

It's only 2 episodes in and already it's in top form!!!!! I gotta say I love Bree's husband Orsen so much...I love that he knows Bree is batshit crazy and he is so supportive!!!!

From what I've gathered..she taked to Julie about the dream of a man coming into her room and grabbing her..which I'm thinking her real dad abused her, according to the last episode she finds out her real dad was not dead and came around...when Dylan asked her mother..she slapped her....I'm thinking Katherine killed him in the house at some point...and they have yet to have her 'Aunt' move in who owns the house (This is the house Mike Delfino moved out of, so I'm guessing that old lady from last season who Edie visited to have Carlos evicted..is the aunt..but she hasnt been shown this season)..

My other theory...IT'S NOT HER who lived there...she opened an old photo album on Sunday nights episode and the baby picture looked like it was tampered with and she looked at the picture as if she did not recognize the baby in the pic.

Katherine- (looking pointedly at him) 'Did we have a choice?'


So there's the possiblity they fled back because her husband did something...I love it...it's still early and it's like a game to figure out what happened....

I love this show more than I should, especially when it's this good...I watch it couple times to pick up clues...I totally forgot that the dad's pic was cut out...at this point it's so early that Marc Cherry has thrown us tons of possiblities...it's so good!

I dont believe the drama with Orsen is over with

One huge secret that I always wondered would resurface in Season 1 still has not. Gabrielle and Carlos still do not know that Andrew ran over Mama Solis. I always wondered when that one was going to come back and haunt Bree!

TV Squad's Paul Goebel reported earlier this month that a gay couple would be moving on Wisteria Lane this upcoming season of Desperate Housewives. Then, rumors started to fly around saying that David Beckham and Robbie Williams were contenders for the roles. After weeks of speculation, the names of the two actors playing the gay couple are finally revealed.TV Guide confirms that actors Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm where cast in the roles. Watkins, who is known for his work on One Life To Live, will play Bob, described by TV Guide as "a country mouse who leaves the big city for greener (and quieter) pastures." As for Judging Amy's Rham, he'll play Bob's bitchy partner, Lee.

Good, a DH thread...Two things have been bugging me since last Sunday's episode:

1) I've lost my hair from chemo before, I know for a fact that if you lose your hair on your head, you lose your eyelashes and eyebrows too. Lynette still has hers, and don't tell me in the story line, she wears false eyelashes and colors in her brows...her character wouldn't do that. If they are going to make her look like she's going through chemo, then they need to get it right.

2) Susan going to that high school party with her breasts hanging out was just dumb.

I haven't followed this show since FOREVER (cause I live overseas and its not the same effect dubbed in a foreign language:lol:) ...BUT, usually when people can't remember some big chunk of their lives it's due to a trauma they suffered. In clinical circles it's referred to as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. There's also another disorder called "Betrayal Trauma" that focuses specifically on emotional, sexual, or physical abuse from childhood. Kids blackout big chunks of their memory as a result...

...so yeah, sounds like they're building up to some scandalous storylines

I'm almost tempted to purchase the DVD sets to watch it in English

I'm thinking she was abused as well...or she's not the real girl...she was kidnapped and the real 'Dylan' was killed....it's setting up to be shocking..I'm hoping because as much as I love the show...some of the 'shockers' have not been so much since Season 1. Last year was a great season and the whole 'Who Killed Monique' was pretty good.

The DVD's are great but if you havent watched since Season 1...be forwarned that Season 2..the show had quite a few missteps...Season 3 was great and about 6-7 episodes in...there's a supermarket hostage episode that to me is the best episode of DH thus far! It's an amazing, shocking, nail biting episode!!!! I think the episode was called 'BANG!'
