and it's a little weird.


Since I've moved into my new apartment I've been cooking up a storm. Last night I spent hours making chili and cornbread.

Tonight I had leftovers (along with freezing a bunch, cause that's a LOT of chili for one person) and now I'm cooking some Bosc pears in wine with some brown sugar and cinnamon. I plan to enjoy just one small scoop of vanilla ice cream on it when it's done and cooled a bit.

What new habits are you picking up?

Yeah, I've been all sorts of domestic lately: cleaning my garage and cooking killer salads.

And, I'm about to do some yard work this week, to tackle my lawn's patches (courtesy of our Tennessee Drought).

And yeah, she hid for a few days, and having karen and dan here right after the move didn't help. she takes forever to get used to anyone. But they're gone now and she appears to be completely comfortable.
