Who In ure Family Is ure Idol??? Who in ure family (immediate or extended)has had the greatest possative impact on ure life? Who inspired u, helped to shape the person that u are and was the one (s) u always knew u could turn to?
The fist preson that comes to mind is my Mum...despite the life she had she was always there for her children, the one we could tell anything to and know that she would never judge us. She had the biggest heart of anyone I know and was always willing to help someone in trouble and many of our friends called her mum as well. Sadly she is no longer with us, but her heart and spirit live on in all that knew her Second would be my Pop ( On my fahters side) He passed away just a week and a bit ago but he was always full of fun and loved all his family with a heart that may have been dodgy medically speaking, but spiritually was never broken And then my grandmother (mums side) She was a woman who went through a heck of a life for a long time, just like my mother, but a wonderful grandma who hosted many a family christmas that I will never forget and she was always there for us..... PRINCE IS WATCHING U " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

My sister who is younger than me but seems older than me. she doesnt realize how strong she is sometimes. my fears, insecurities, hopes, men, dilemmas, i can talk to her about anything and not feel judged or somehow feel as if i'm getting advice just for solutions sake or from someone who is detached from me in some sort of way. i value her honesty and i trust that what she has to say is sincere and not critical in a shallow way. she has 6 kids (i cannot do ) of her own and single. Sometimes her life isn't so fantastic but when things are like that thats what i'm here for. a true friend. a soul mate.

They are all, literally ...in many different ways, each has had a tremendous positive impact on my life and who I am now.

My father has always set the example for me to follow. I cannot remember a point in my life when he was critical. I know that I can always rely on his support.
When I was in college, he understood that I was going to make some mistakes. He came to my rescue many times.

I would not say idolising would be the word I would use to describe it.
I respect and honour both of my parents for very different reasons. I would have to say that is about it when it comes to living relatives. I respect and look up to my mom for being strong and very talented with her art. I respect and look up to my dad for his acceptance and open mindedness that he has towards other ppl especially towards me and the decisions I have made as an adult. My dad has a way of making me laugh no matter how sad or stressed I might be. My mom has the ability to tell it like it is and not sugar coat things. I respect that she can just say things and not think so much about it first. Some times I wish I had that quality.

my great grandmother was the most inspiring person I've ever known...she passed a few years ago but the things she told me and the things she taught me through her actions have not and never will be forgotten...I wish my children could have known her....she is my hero...

My dad because he became a single parent when I was five (I'm the youngest of four kids), worked 3, sometimes 4 jobs....never heard the man complain once...he never paraded a bevy of women around us and always admonished us to be respectful of our hatcher....I mean mother....regardless of how high and dry she left him.....to this day, he is still full of vigor and even though Katrina hit him hard, he's still a positive person....can't wait to go back to N.O. to visit.... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

My mom and my aunt.
My mother was just a power house of personality. She never met a stranger. At her funeral there were folks from the bank, the grocery store and just these random folks there. I was like..WOW. All of them saying she left an impact on their lives. My aunt because of her integrity. She works my nerves and can be evil as hell but she is the most honest person I've ever met. We haven't always gotten along but I have much respect for her.
