How about a collasped wall with a female figure moving toward....
Rose garden

A male figure

why?
this is female sexuality, how does that tie in with female virginity?

I don't know how you'd employ these, but my favorites from the classical world are depictions of active -- even militaristically so -- female sanctity/virginity/self-definition...

The Greek virgin goddess Artemis bidding dogs to kill their owner, Actaeon, after he spies on her bathing.

A Thessalonian woman, Caenis, rebuffs the god Poseidon. He rapes her and grants her a wish. She wishes to become a man -- in invulnerable warrior -- so that she will never again be violated. In her new incarnation, Caenis -- now Caeneus -- becomes legendarily undefeatable and kills countless men in the Peloponnesian War

Lilith (Although she might also be seen as a symbol of female sexual depravity)

Joan of Arc

St. Ursula and her 11,000 Virgins, all martyred by the Huns

oooohwee, thank you
i'm sure i'll be able to include symbols that allude to these women, somehow, but thank you it all is very helpful!

I AGREE! Female religious ecstasy as proxy for sexual indulgence is a fascinating theme in ecclesial art! nod

ThreadBare

The biblical story of Jephthah's daughter deals very specifically with virginity.
