I don't have anything concrete BUT (for me) virginity (when I was one, LOL) really had nothing to do with religion so those images while powerful don't really tell it all. I'm kinda on the page of UFOclub, in that "longing" & "imagination" represent it well for me, as opposed to literal locks, etc. I dunno, I used to look @ couples on the street & want that closeness & shorthand with someone. It was like a barrier that I hadn't crossed yet, but not a barrier ON my person - it was more out in the world. Like there was this whole level of life I wasn't participating in.





This isn't even close (given her expression, it's all in the eyes for me) but she's definitely on the outside of something. A bridesmaid (or someone @ a wedding) looking on @ the happy couple, though the look could probably be interpreted many ways.

I don't think I'm helping but my virginity was always tied to finding a guy who loved me, & not having found him yet
