Let's ask Twinkly1

Are you male or female?

Are you more like a dog, a cat or a bird?

What's you favorite place to be?

How would you describe Prince to someone unfamiliar with him?

Got brothers and sisters?

Which celebrity do you look like most?

What kind of bread do you eat?

What do you think your 100m sprint time would be?

How many hours out of an average day do you listen to music?

Who's your favourite comedian?

touched Wow, I feel special, I think. batting eyes I was born, and still remain female (live in Bay Area...so have to qualify, LOL) definitely a Woman. Grew up in NY (upstate). Have a large family, although I'm only one of two girls. I love dogs, but consider myself a Fish--partially because I'm Pisces--partially because it suits my personality (No, not dead fish, either!) I'm cool, swimming into the deep blue, let things roll of my back. My favorite place to be is near the water and in the sun. I’ve traveled, but can’t say where my absolute favorite place is because I’m not sure I’ve been there yet. (see—Pisces!) . I’m pretty (exotic as most have commented) and have always received a lot of attention from the opposite sex. But I’m choosey.

Now, Prince: Intriguing. Intelligent. Powerful. Sexy. I would tell people that he's a genius musician in a class by himself—not to take away from others, but it’s a fact. I would say that he has endured one of the most difficult professions there is and he’s done it well. I admire him. I would tell the story of me almost meeting him about 10 years ago, that I was kinda silly at the time which messed me up. err In fact, he was so close to me that he could have reached out and grabbed my butt, literally. Long story.

I would say that although I knew of him back-in-the-day, I never paid much attention to him because I was busy with other things and he seemed kinda weird anyway. All of that has changed since listening to 3121 and P,E., now I want to know more about him. I would say that he’s always been there (subconscious) because as I started researching him I noticed that I recognized music I’d heard in the past, but didn’t attribute it to him at the time; and furthermore, that I think I understand where he’s coming from for personal reasons, and since I’m mature enough to understand life’s paths. The more I learn about him the more I think we have quite a bit in common which is interesting to me.

And, lastly I’d say that I believe that I will meet him. The fact that I was so close to him before but didn’t meet him was because it wasn’t the right time; however, it will happen because it’s supposed to be that way.

People tell me I sort of look like Tracee Ross (girlfriends) without the large eyes. I don't really think I look like her though. She and I have curly hair, we're slender and about the same skin tone; but that's where it ends mostly. My face is similar to hers, but I wouldn't say that I really look like her up close.

Whole grain breads like Oroweat Honey Berry bread although I definately love sourdough rolls (San Francisco has the best!)

I've taken a break from running, but I can get down, now and I love how I feel after running 3-4 miles, can't even explain the high!

My favorite comedian? I like Richard Pryor, Moms Mabley, Redd Foxx, George Carlin, Chris Rock and Larry David to name a few. There's a few new guys out there that are amusing also.

Spurs did play well. It's not like they created a lot of clear cut chances, but the goals were excellent. The draw did flatter Liverpool in the sense that Spurs had got the goals and defended really well, but really Liverpool should've had a two goal cushion when they were on top in the first half. I don't think you can really begrudge us a point. smile

I'm weird to the 5th power. Always had different ideas,(i.e., have long, long felt that the current version of rap music is poison in the African American community) somewhat unklike others,; didn't always fit to the stereotypes and/or other people's concepts of me. Believe the concepts of truth, freedom, justice, love, non-violence, etc. ha, ha, ha, seems funny when I read it! (That's wierd isn't it?)

Yeah i agree mate, first half you were the better team but we scored at such critical times. A point is a point away at Anfield and i would have taken that before the game. I was just gutted that it was a last min equaliser.

It was a bit rough on you to lose it at the death. I'd really given up pretty much all hope even with 20 mins to go. I just couldn't see us scoring. Despite all our Champions League final exploits we're typically a team that looks clueless when chasing a game.
