I used to walk around barefoot a lot too.....then I went off to school.....had to share a really old nasty dorm bathroom with nasty girls. It turned me into a huge germaphobe, and I kinda miss how carefree I used to be about this. I don't really wear complicated shoes. I like wearing shoes that I can slip my feet in and out, like Vans slip-ons. I usually wear any type of flip-flops/thongs for around the house. Whenever I come home, the first thing I do is switch to flip flops if I'm wearing enclosed shoes. I actually love the look of different types of shoes, but could only wear certain kinds on a daily basis. I hear you. 
I'm usually okay with sandals and even clogs, especially if I'm only walking around near the house, but thick enclosed winter shoes make my feet claustrophobic and uncomfortable no matter how well-fitting they are. | |
