For me? I think it was persistence and a matter of fact attitude. It was almost a familiar way of dealing with me from the get go that made me feel comfortable and made me take notice of him


OK OK disbelief there is more to it than that: it said in my horoscope I would meed my future husband Dec 8 1994. So I was out looking for him. When he put my arm around me and introduced him to his drunken friend as "my wife" my ears pricked up with interest, and I had a good look at him, and he looked nice enough shrug

Over the coming weeks the things I liked about him were his openess, warmth, honesty and family values. His willingness to keep everything out in the open and never bottled up was something I was not used to and had to learn, but I liked it.
