Anyone been to San Jose del Cabo? I'm planning a trip and I am looking for suggestions.

I'm kind of thinking of avoiding Cabo San Lucas because I don't need the craziness, and I heard San Jose is much quieter.

I'm also thinking of doing an all-inclusive type trip, but I wonder if there are any drawbacks, like you only get cereal & tap water.

Any resort recommendations, especially peaceful ones?

I can only speak about all-inclusive in general and personally I only like it if I want to totally relax and do absolutely nothing whatsoever on my holiday. Usually though it drives me nuts since I want more variety.

That's kind of what we're looking for. Thing is, these places are all near Cabo San Lucas, which is like a nonstop party. So I really wouldn't mind a boring resort.

I've been obsessing about hotels, I just need to choose something. The online reviews are sort of like opinions of music on the org. "The Crowne Plaza is the greatest hotel I've ever stayed at!" "I think it's actually the WORST!" "Eh, it's okay."
