In Sweden we basically have two different types of caviar; the slightly "fancy" one you're most likely referring to, but also the "fine-grained" kind that comes in a tube and is used as a sandwich spread. The latter is by far the most commonly used one and I find it very tasty. Most foreigners that try it think it's too salty though.

really good caviar is awesome with a bit of cream cheese on a cracker but cheaper brands are too salty and gross. | |

I didn't know it came in a squeeze tube too. It's totally a cultural difference. My stomach tried to turn itself inside out when I first heard of Cheeze Whiz. | |
