TBH i know we will be ok but we NEED Champions League. Now that looks like a really tough ask but with Chelscum struggling you never know....we will see at christmas. Like you say we have quality we just have to show it

I don't think Chelski will finish below Spurs to be honest. I think they'll pick themselves up sooner rather than later. I think there will also be at least one other team going strong and within touching distance of that 4th place, but there's no doubt in my mind that Spurs will start to come back towards the top by xmas. I think it'll all be a bit closer this year and so 3rd, 4th, 5th could be much tighter than in previous years. When I look at just the players in each squad, regardless of team position now or injuries, the top 4 is still pretty much locked, though not as firmly as in previous years. Then I see Spurs and probably Everton fighting it out for 5th and 6th. With at least one of the top 4 faltering and a very good start for Spurs I could have seen them snatch 4th but that's not going to happen now. I think Everton will continue to be consistent and they'll get 5th place while Spurs will get stronger and end up 6th.

I think Liverpool will definitely score at least one today. I really don't think Spurs will score more than 1 against us at home, so I'm going for a 2-0 or 2-1 win. A 1-1 is possible but, I think, unlikely.

Yeah i pretty much have it that way too but if we get in front our tails will come up.

The way Liverpool are now, against many teams, the opposition taking the lead first would mean horrible viewing for Liverpool fans as we struggle incompetently to get a goal, but with your defense I think it'd mean a 1-1 draw, a good result for you and not a great one for us. It's definitely possible, but I'm hoping we score first. If we do I don't see us losing.

Yep, Hamilton really pulled it out of the bag. I've always been a Ferrari fan since I was a kid and I've been rooting for Massa most of the season, but for this latter half I've been hoping Hamilton will stuff Alonso (who I really don't like!) and that qualifying performance came from nowhere considering how strong the Ferraris were in practice, Q1 and Q2. Couldn't have gone better for Hamilton.

What time is the rugby on? The cable guide and listings actually on the TV are screwed here today.

The annual Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is this weekend. They are expecting a million people here by the end of the week. This morning, on the news, they said that there were just 300,000 people at the first mass ascension. Of course, that was at 6:00 am, so who knows how many showed up later...

Ever been?

That's so cool. We have a festival just like this. It happened a few weeks ago. All the balloons fly over my place and my son loves watching hundreds of them fly by.

I did some shopping. I have spent most of my day outside. I hung some candle holders along my fence. And I decorated my little outdoor tree with new colorful lights, and added some artificial fall holiday leaves, and I don't celebrate holidays, really. lol

I have a dinner date with my co-workers in a few hours, we are welcoming a new co-worker... she should be pre-warned, not celebrated, I feel. lol

Was going 2 fly 2 Chicago watch the Cubs, then roll 2 Greenbay 2 watch the Bears take an ass whooping. Now that the Cubs have choked out of the playoffs, I'll be watching the Bears in HD at home. What a bummer.
