It's the 5th of October, won't your pumpkins be mush by the 31st?

They are gourds - dryed gourds

they wont rot and can be used for several yrs

The Pumpkins we do 3 days prior to Samhain

I grew some gourds a few years ago, wierd plants!! And, yea the fruits are sat in a bowl in my garden shed, looking exactly the same. I thought pumpkins were for halowe'en, they should be gone for samhain. Although i am bit out of depth on my pagen festivals I have to admit.

So, tonight I am setting my house order; cleaning, that is.
Then tomorrow; gardening.
Have dinner with Greek Guy in the evening.
Sleep in. Preferably with Greek Guy.
Then go to Happy Hour and get drunk the easy way.
Monday, after my meetings at work; Handsome Furs in Paradiso.

So gruelling! lol We had a nice ladyboy doing make up and hair (mostly for Mon - I just had a little makeup) and a photographer who reminded me of Jackie Chan for some reason.

It was film though, not digital. We'll get an album of 14 edited, touched up pics, a large framed photo, and the negatives. That all means that to send the pics to people on the internet or send hard copies of the finished ones we'll need to put the album under a scanner. confused

You were probably tired of smiling by the end.
As long as you get some wonderful pics to keep for yourselves that is all that matters really.
I am sure there will be ppl at the actual wedding celebration that will take digi pics that you can share with your internet friends.
How exciting excited

November is getting close woot!

We were tired. The last set of pics were taken outside in the park with Mon in a western style white wedding dress and me in a black suit. People were stopping to watch us and we were draping over benches, lying on the grass etc. all in 30+ degree heat. Considering we'd already been going 6 hours at that point it did start to get tough to maintain a smile and project that lovey dovey feeling. lol One nice lady stopped and told Mon she looked beautiful and wished us luck, which was sweet.

I'm hoping we get all the negatives (not just the ones from the 14 we choose) because I could then take those 'outtakes' and get them on my computer and put a bit of gloss on them myself. It'd be really nice to have all of them. We had piggyback pics, one where I was made to look like I was lifting Mon up into the air etc. which would be cool to have.

All in all we had 5 changes of clothing - casual clothing (both denim and black top), north eastern Thai, regular Thai, the Thai clothes we'll wear on the day, and western style wedding clothes. Mon had different hair for each pic, with some pretty elaborate stuff going on with extensions in some. smile

Can't wait to choose the best ones next Thursday. excited

Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving. My whole family is off work and school. We're gonna drive up from Toronto to Montreal, hang out and pick up a piece of furniture I bought on Craigslist from someone up there. Hopefully, some of the leaves will have already changed color that far up north.

It's not like we've been playing well of late though, but still, at some point the players are going to bounce back what with all the criticism lately, and your defense isn't exactly looking tight. I'm looking forward to it. Should be a good game. nod

Man, Darren Bent. What a nightmare! They thought Berbatov was going though didn't they? You've still so many decent players though. Defense will improve as players get fit. You'll move up the table, no doubt. It's just that you've given yourselves a bad start that'll make a high final finish hard to get.

TBH i know we will be ok but we NEED Champions League. Now that looks like a really tough ask but with Chelscum struggling you never know....we will see at christmas. Like you say we have quality we just have to show it

I don't think Chelski will finish below Spurs to be honest. I think they'll pick themselves up sooner rather than later. I think there will also be at least one other team going strong and within touching distance of that 4th place, but there's no doubt in my mind that Spurs will start to come back towards the top by xmas. I think it'll all be a bit closer this year and so 3rd, 4th, 5th could be much tighter than in previous years. When I look at just the players in each squad, regardless of team position now or injuries, the top 4 is still pretty much locked, though not as firmly as in previous years. Then I see Spurs and probably Everton fighting it out for 5th and 6th. With at least one of the top 4 faltering and a very good start for Spurs I could have seen them snatch 4th but that's not going to happen now. I think Everton will continue to be consistent and they'll get 5th place while Spurs will get stronger and end up 6th.

I think Liverpool will definitely score at least one today. I really don't think Spurs will score more than 1 against us at home, so I'm going for a 2-0 or 2-1 win. A 1-1 is possible but, I think, unlikely.
