Canned Bread Appreciation Thread

WTF?!

Who buys bread in a can???

Is there some glaring practicality I'm missing?

Has anyone ever eaten canned bread?

I mean, really: WTF?!

i was so excited the first time i saw canned curry (here in the midwestern states, it's not exactly commonplace)...then i tried it and was sick for three days. i think i dropped a pants size as a result! thumbs up!

right now, i think the only canned foods i really trust are canned soups, corn and canned veggie chili. even then, i'm a brand snob because i think it's way too easy to get sick from dodgy canned goods. boxed

I used to buy loads of frozen dinners and stock up my freezer, I'm useless at cooking and have no patience to cook things from fresh so he will get canned crap with his potatoes or make his own dinner.
I ate some vindaloo before (not from a can!) and was sick for about four days, but I think it was actually undercooked.

It's a very hot and spicy Indian curry that burns your mouth, throat and puts a fire in your belly..it's very tasty though.
