Who Did Your Parents Name U After?? Or what was their motivation behind the moniker of choice!

it was actually my sister that named me..
my dad wanted april because i was born in april   he tried!
Samille... Sam from my daddy's middle name, Samuel and ille from my sisters highschool bff @ the time, Camille it just sounds right... so whenever i tell people how to say my name if they're reading it alloud, i just say "Camille but with an S instead." I wasn't named after anyone.My parents named me Jessica just 'cause they liked the name. I kind of wish they gave me a different name though. There are a lot of Jessicas  I also find it strange that they gave me an American name when everyone else in my family has Hispanic names  | |

Irene, I was named after my mother. I never really liked this name growing up, it was always an "old ladies name" After my Mom passed away, I was proud to have this name..plus every little old man I meet has the urge to sing to me, "Good-night, Irene" | |
