There was a time when it was possibly me living the furthest away from everyone. Right now, I should imagine it's someone like JonyLawson to my knowledge. What with him living in New Zealand.

I had a look at the world globe the other night, and if any of you live in New Foundland (I think it was) you would officially be at the furthest point away from me right now.

If you stick a pin right through your town, right through the centre of the earth, where would it emerge on the other side? (and I don't recommend doing this if your globe is inflatable like mine was).

falloff hah!

And I don't know, possibly you! wave

I looked, and noone lives 1000miles south of New Zealand! :hmph:

because nobody has a world globe at home mad

BUT! I have found this, it's really cool, you drag a map around on one side and magnify until you are happy with your location, and the opposite point is mapped on the other side.

http://www.zefrank.com/sa.../tool.html

my point is actually in the middle of the Atlantic, equally close to the north american coast and portugal.

Very cool.

Whichever orger lives in the Indian Ocean about 1000 miles southwest of Western Australia would be farthest from me. biggrin

Exact opposite point from me would be in the Indian ocean off the southwestern coast of Oz so the furthest away would be you Charlotte. We shall never meet. sad

I can't disagree. You're correct: it's unfair to you and you shouldn't be held to pressures so intense. You wake early, work a strenuous day, and come home to unwind with a beer/fag and the org, and people are still attempting to wring out any brilliance left in your overworked cranium. It's exploitation.

Very nice to see you, even if it's just a neutral. smile
