I like them both. I usually love b & w, but for some reason the color is standing out for me.

As always beautiful work...the photos and the boys.

I am going to do photograpy. I am jealous of your abilities.

the b/w is very striking but much more mournful.
i think that's perhaps why people are choosing the sunlit
color faces of your boys instead. warmer and contemplative.

The B&W picture is really great.

I think I finally figured out what it is about B&W that looks so great, or at least part of the reason (Forgive me if this is way too obvious, but I just figured it out!).

Color is wonderful in the world, but there are maybe hundreds at any given time among a group of people, a room, a city block, etc. In a small space like a photo, the clashing of the colors is more apparent--her scarf clashes with the couch, his hat clashes with her shoes, etc and it can ruin the composition.

But in B&W everything matches perfectly!

Your color ones look great, too, it's just that I was excited about my theory

I think they are very expensive to rent/own. The rich folks who live all along that road next to the beach keep their dinghys, windsurfing stuff, and they can get changed in them. etc. They aren't big enough to sleep over in I imagine, though I am sure it has been done
