Do you like getting them? Do they make you feel uncomfortable?

They make me feel very uncomfortable.

I like giving them, but sometimes getting complimented can make me uncomfortable. I guess it depends on who is doing the complimenting and what exactly they are complimenting.

Actually, in general people who are sweet and nice to me and compliment me (even when I know it's sincere) make me feel very uncomfortable. Like, I actually feel physically weird.

I'm fine with them if I believe they're true. But they don't really DO much for me.

If I don't think they're true, then they feel gross.

I find taking complements difficult.
when I receive them I can't tell if people mean it and if I try to accept them I feel like a bighead.

A lot of people have a hard time with being told nice things about themselves.

I really like getting genuine compliments, and I can take them to heart. Coming up with a good response is a whole other matter though... Most of the time it comes across really flat and doesn't convey my gratitude, or as a dutiful compliment-in-return that because of the context sounds less genuine than it is.
