Israel
Crappy pay, takes sometimes months to arrive, and they'd try to squeeze every penny they can get out of your pay. But the weather is nice

If you want to know something specific then feel free to ask. Thanx. It was more a general question like, what did u do there? Why did u choose such country & why did u come back if u did? How was it like 2 permanently live in a different culture? I'm asking because i'm almost sure i'm gonna do it in 2 years, so i ask others how it happened & how they felt about it, just curious [Edited 10/2/07 11:46am]

I worked as a high school teacher. Why did u choose such country
Well, I lived in Vancouver for two years and during that time I got to know several people who had taught in Japan. I was moderately interested in doing it myself, but then one of my closest friends decided to do it and that sparked my interest a lot more. I started looking into the matter and eventually, after moving back to Sweden, I decided it would be worth a try so I sent in an application. A while later I was called to an interview in Oxford so I flew over there and they gave me the job. why did u come back if u did?
Because I was getting burnt out at work, I was very isolated and the culture didn't quite suit my personality. Still, I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever about going there. It was an amazing experience. How was it like 2 permanently live in a different culture?
Well Japan really is a very special case. I've traveled a lot in my life but never ever have I encountered a culture so different from everything else as the Japanese one. You make cultural missteps on a daily basis, and you would have never seen them coming. It's simply an entirely different set of social rules and expectations, and that can be stressful as well as fascinating. I'm asking because i'm almost sure i'm gonna do it in 2 years
Which country do you have in mind?

Which country do you have in mind? Asia 4 sure & most probably India. I'm going back there 4 a 2 months & a half trip in one month, since it's been a while since my last trip, so in 3 months from now i guess i'd have taken my final decision. I have 2 remain in France 4 other reasons until 2009 or 2010 at most, then i'm free 2 go 4 good!
