ThirdandFinal said: The problem with AWD which I'm sure you already ran into is that if you read the fine print in the owners maual You can not buy just one tire when you have a blow out, it needs all 4. This is never explained by the salesmen when the car is sold. Instead the owners wait and get hysterical with me when one tire ends up being $690.00
TY for this info - I had not run into it as when I do get new tires ( i JUST did last week ) I buy all 4 new ones anyway | |

Moderator | I love my Jeep.
I love my Jeep so much and am so vocal about it, just about my whole family has gotten Jeeps. So yeah.... buy a Jeep. If I was going to buy a new truck I'd buy this even though it's gigantic: http://www.jeep.com/en/2008/commander/ This might be better for you: http://www.jeep.com/en/2008/patriot/ In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Audi Allroad,
Not an SUV so better on the gas, AWD or 4WD, the dogs gonads in style and engineering. Having said that, if you don't need the space then any AUDI quatro will deal with a mountainous driveway. Go Japanese for reliability and price maintenance, Rav4 or Honda CRV. RAV4 has hit best in class for years. Nissan and Toyota trucks are the most rugged you can get.
