prayers/thoughts/whatever for Karen - update She could use them right now.
For those that don't know, Karen is with her sister who is going into surgery today, possible cancer. What has developed is that now her son is in the hospital back home two hours away for a severe asthma attack. Her son's father is with him, but I can tell just from the few lines she wrote me to let me know, she's having a hard time being away from him, yet of course, can't leave her sister either. 
She's optimistic that both will be fine (and I am too!), but I think she can use all the positive energy she can get. She's not slept barely at all. 
Update! Her sister is 100% FINE. No cancer and the baseball sized cyst they thought was there simply isn't. Karen is shocked and baffled but relieved and on her way to see her son. |
