It is such a great thing to know that people are not stupid.

1,5 years ago I found myself at a crossroad: spending energy on defending myself from my ex's smear-campaign and proving he was, and did ALL the things (and more) he accused ME of? Or simply keep on keepin on?

Well, I chose not to because I didn't want to give ANY attention to his Narcissistic Personality (disorder).

Instead, I used this situation to test a theory I once read (when I was trying to understand the childish and selfish behavior of the ex.)

The theory is: There is no need to prove to the world that his accusations are false and that it is in fact projection of his self image.

Now, in the past 1,5 years I have been approached by various people, who involved theirselves with him, letting me know they now see what I saw when I asked him to leave my world.

So I say: It is such a great thing to know that people are not stupid! The truth WILL show itself!

Tiiiiime is on my side... yes it is!!!

Okay, here is the forum question: Have you ever experienced the same "calm" of KNOWING that eventually there are, or will be, more people than just yourself, who know from experience what a person is really like, nomatter how hard he (or she) tries to manipulate the world into seeing their false self?

I get accused of all kinds of things that are simply not true by people who do not know me well but assume so much. I just let them try and do their damage, say whatever...as people who know me well will know that what they say is total shit and then the person saying it just ends up looking like a complete idiot. They just end up doing that to themselves, which is awesome and didn't require any effort from me.
