I've got to say that "Friends" is probably my least favorite show of all time. More than "The Brady Bunch." More than "Seinfeld." I can't stand any of the characters and the plots are always inane. | |

wow, that's sad. Friends is one of my all time faves, it's filled with talent and has had many good seasons, IMO. Not always THE BEST, but very good. The characters have developed well (albeit in standard sitcom form) and I think the chemistry between them has only increased every year. It's also filled with some talent that I think will continue on, eventually, to long careers (see Jenifer Aniston's knock-out performance in the Good Girl.) And "Romeo Must Die"??? and you were complaining about inane plots?!?!! but, whatevs, too each their own... I'm arguing with someone who lists "Chaos and Disorder" as an enjoyable experience, so I guess I should consider the source! | |

I didn't watch Romeo Must Die for the plot.  I watched it for Lady Aaliyah. Anyway, Friends just makes me sick. Chandler in particular irritates me. I HATE sarcasm and wise guy mentality. It's a disgrace to humanity. That's why I hate Seinfeld too. The show also seems to be a "guy's guy" show and we all know I'm not a "guy's guy" so it doesn't appeal to me at all. I also am not a fan of shows that require laugh tracks. | |
