I'm sure there are a lot of nuances about you that come through better in writing. But as far as improv, the times you've nearly killed me have been off-the-cuff. I'd LOVE to see you onstage with other funny people.

hey, thanks! i was just thinking tonight about looking for improv classes in MPLS, and trying to drag a MPLS kitty or two along with me. personally, i think katy and i need to start our own improv troupe. biggrin

If I didn't already get it for free, I would SO pay to see that! lol

I've heard this defined as where you gain and lose energy. If interacting with people gives you energy, you're an extrovert. If it drains you, you're an introvert.

I, my friends, am an introvert. Which is why many of my homies are online. Interaction only happens when I know I have the energy. lol

hmmm that makes me an extrovert, I can almost get high on human interaction and good company so why do I behave like an introvert? confuse

eek

For me it's completely the opposite.
That would make me an introvert, and although I am quite shy everybody thinks I am not and I talk a lot.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

For the engery thing, again, I'm mostly introvert, as after spending a lot of time around a group of people I do feel utterly drained. But in the moment, I can get caught up in the charge.

I'm actually a text book introvert BUT I've learned to overcome some of the negative aspects of being an introvert. I need to unplug from the world. Parties and get togethers drain me to no end. I'm normally one of the last to show up some place and the first to leave.

Its funny that I'm viewed as an extrovert by some.

Extroverts

Extroverts are motivated from "without" and their attention is directed outward. They are people who are sociable, friendly, self-confident and outgoing. They appear relaxed and confident. Extroverts have trouble understanding life until they have lived it. When extroverts are feeling bad, low in energy, or stressed, they are likely to look outside themselves for relief. They might go shopping, call friends to come over, or arrange a party. They are energized from without, and they look for meaning outside of themselves. Extroverts make up about 75% of the American population.

Introverts

Introverts are motivated from "within" and they are oriented towards the inner world of ideas, imagery, and reflection. Introverts get their energy from within rather than from the outside world. An introvert values quiet time alone for thinking while an extrovert wants time with others for action. Introverts believe that they cannot live life until they have understood it. They are seen as reserved, quiet, shy, aloof, and distant. When an introvert is tired, stressed or feels bad he is likely to withdraw to a quiet place and engage in reflective activity. Introverts look to the inner world for energy and meaning. Approximately 25% of the American population is introverted.

Why would you need to speak in order to buy Cheetos?

I mean, I guess if you're really broke and there's no price tag, you might have to ask, "How much are the Cheeots?". But only the first time!

Both.

I was never shy except for talking to girls when I was young, but socially never. Yet these days I love my solitude and seek out time alone.
