packing for a 3 day trip--do you take too much or too little?

i'm going to orlando today for a weds-sat R&R trip, and i'm now up to 8 pairs of shorts, 9 shirts, 3 pairs of jeans and some other stuff. i know i won't wear all this stuff, but i just feel sfaer knowing i have clothing options when i get to where i'm going.

If I'm travelling with a lady then I usually pack a few extra sweaters, just in case. Women's clothing always seems too thin, and I don't like to see her feel cold.

Well, anyone who willingly goes for a swim in a lake in Minnesota in the middle of the winter probably doesn't need an extra sweater. smile

I am exactly like you. I always over pack for "What if" and "Just in case" scenarios. lol My husband hates it. He is a very light packer.

Awwwww. That's sweet. I'm always cold. I always pack a sweater with me. Even if I'm just going out for dinner and it's 90 degrees out I bring a sweater because I know I'll be cold inside. I always get cold at the movies too.

I'm always warm, so it sounds like we'd be a good match. Together we'd be just the right temperature. batting eyes
