I have a list of Canadian junk food and candy that I miss almost on a daily basis, for example: Two Bite Brownies, Cinnamon Crunchies, Mrs Field's Chocolate Chip Cookies, Purdy's Hedgehogs, etc.

Y'all have 7-11's but no Krispi Kremes? Wow.
I fortunately am not a fan of the Krispi. I don't know I think it's just a sugar lick with frosting. But that's just me.... They put in a Krispy Kreme here, but being such a health-minded town and not the greatest of locations it closed before the year was up. I never got over there, myself.

I never really got into these, there are no Krispy Kreme donut shops is Santa Barbara, but there is one just a few miles away that I go by on shopping trips to the outlets...I just drive by, never feel like stopping. Thank goodness!

Krispy Kreme can get too sweet at times, which is way I can only do them once and awhile.

I bet they taste good but I could never bring myself to buy a pack. last year a friend brought over dozen to watch the Italy vs Australia match with us, I had 2, but I didn't think them THAT amazing or anything. I was watching the girl at Donut King do her thing, and I asked her what is that enromous white block next to her and she looked over to see if her supervisor was watching, then mouthed "LARD" and made the puke gesture I won't touch those things, or these lard lard lard!

I grew up on Krispy Kreme on the east coast. I moved to California and they didn't get the glorious double K until 2002. My friends said "They've only been around for a couple of months"
I said "BITCH PLEASE, THEY ARE CLASSICS!" the Krispy Kreme in my old neighborhood put the Dunkin Donuts outta business in a year "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

PREDOMINANT said: I love these donuts, always on my list when I visit the US (along with chicken wings and breakfast burritos). They opened a few over here and I never saw any so it was no problem, but since I moved work I drive past one every day. I have currently resisted, (I don't think Mandiet stretches to donuts! Although it should ) I know once I have sampled them I will be stopping for drivethrough every day.
Damn you USA for pushing your quality fast food chains on us So , horror stories from Krispy Kreme please, Pubes in frosting kind or corporate nasty kind. Please spill. I'm sorry, I'm still caught up on you needing to have chicken wings and breakfast burritos. I don't know whether that's tragic or comic as hell, because Lawd KNOWS there are times I would knock somebody down a flight of stairs to get to a pastrami sandwich here in Europe
