IMO they should change the name. I happen to ride by with a friend of mine, who is black, and I was dumbstruck. I didn't know what to say.

And yeah there was a huge line.

they have the best pancakes, and you get free warm muffins at the table while you wait..can't beat that! also brings back good childhood memories..

whats arcata?

see, miguel? lol

arcata is a depressing little town in northern california. though i seem to remember they have a really good little vegan restaurant run by a cult or something. they had really great meatless gravy and biscuits. drool

come to think of it, i think that vegan barn i ate at was located in san jose, too. lol

Aw yes, the Jim Jones special.

One of these days you'll have to show me the wonderful world of vegetarian eating. I want to do it right the first time.

I'm in the same boat you are. Cleveland, Ohio is probably even more boring than San Jose, California. There are no jobs here, and the jobs that do become available pay lousy wages. Because there are no jobs, people are leaving the city (and who can blame them?). Plus they just announced that Geauga Lake Amusement Park is closing, after having been open for over 100 years. Geauga Lake also has a waterpark, that part will stay open, but the rides themselves will close. This city has absolutely nothing to offer anymore.

But I thought Cleveland Rocked!!!!! sad

Not really. Don't believe everything you hear. lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

San Jose, California. The only interesting thing is the WINCHESTER MYSTERY HOUSE. That and I'm in Silicon Valley.

I've been reading various thread where people are buying homes with burial sites in their backyards or they live where beggars and witches were buried and burned.

Wow, how boring is San Jo?

If it's so boring, then why do I have to drive all the way to San Jose to see Prince and Madonna concerts?

And Sharks games.

San Jose is exciting! How about the way the planes practically land on the freeway? They fly right past downtown, so every 5 minutes feels like another 9/11! That's pretty fun!

The most boring place I ever lived was Malibu lol And I really was bored. But I didn't smoke weed or surf.

I think there is always better than here. Then you get there and you're like, hey it's no better than where I came from.

California is calling me because I love the ocean but everything's so damn expensive and it's falling into the ocean...lol

I'll always love Michigan, even if it's on the brink of bankruptcy and people are leaving the state in droves because of the shitty auto market. The change of seasons, the water and the no-bullshit people mushy

That kind of freaks me out every time I pass by that part of the freeway.
