Who remembers the mini series "V"??? My mother and I used to watch this show all the time but I dont remember when it ended...War of the Worlds just came on a movie channel and it made me think of it!!!
I remember the aliens freaked me out because they were Lizarddy type reptiles and I will never foregt the episode where Diana ate a rodent

especially when the "baby" was born- right out of the stomach

Hey chilli,I remember when the first series came out early eighties I think? And I kid u not, the whole of our school was at a standstill-it was shown nightly over a week. Twas all anyone ever spoke about and when you actually saw Diana eat that hamster/gerbil rodent thingy...aggggghhhhh. Yak 
Then the spookiest thing happened,our national telephone company(only one at that time)changed their logo and we swore it looked just like the visitors emblem. We were convinced it was a hostile takeover

I absolutely loved that show until they for some reason decided that the aliens shouldn't have "weird" voices anymore and instead talk just like the humans. From that point on the quality started to drop. Maybe they'd replaced the creative team, I don't know.
Poor guy who played the hero by the way. He didn't have much of a career afterwards (I think his career peak was Beastmaster  ). | |
