Does anyone here have an Ikea bed? How do you like it & is it comfy?
Just bought the dalsalv(sp) pine bed with wooden slats but im worried the slats may fall out? i didnt bother attaching that metal crossbar thingy underneath.. eek ...there were NO pre-drilled holes for the cross bar. mad

While I may think that Ikea has some cute items here and there, I would totally invest in a nice bed or at the very least a decent futon.

C'mon you spend 8 to 10 hours a night sleeping on the thing. I just think that anything, that I've seen from, Ikea would be in the long run a waste of money.

but thats just me.

well, my bedroom in the attic & the doorway is SMALL, no room for a boxspring...the bed itself is actually very comfy & firm (which is what i like)
I have a futon in sons room (its lumpy) & another futon in the spare room (its very hard) sad

I spent three times as much on my mattress than I did on the bed frame lol...the mattress has been ultra-comfortable, though, well worth the money. nod...and again, the Ikea bed has been completely sturdy:

yeah, i cant understand WHY the pressed board costs MORE than the real wood? the bed i bought is solid pine & it was only $89.- (canadian) I like thier sofas too, & the way you can just buy a new cover when you get tired of the look.
they have cute toys & pet stuff~~

I don't either, I went to the store to check it out before seriously considering.

I did buy a small table & chairs through Target's dumb asses though, sight unseen. Thankfully they turned out okay smile
