it's all about money, and investment

I forgot, I also have Sir Graves autograph. Remember him from the 70's on Detroit's WXYZ?
I was like 4 years old and terrified of him!

My autographs are kind of lame. Back in the early 90's I was really into hair bands and I would go to the local mall to find them when they were in town. I have the guys from Warrant, C.C. DeVille from Poison, the guys from Trixter, the guys from Firehouse and some of Ozzy's band. I was really excited about it at the time but now I'm kind of embarrassed! Shake it til ya make it

I have gotten in person:
-Eldridge Cleaver (former Black Panther) autographed & personalized my Soul on Ice book. -Arthur Danto (philosopher, art critic & writer for The Nation) autographed a book I have on artist Mark Tansey (he wrote the intro). When I gave it to him to sign, he was surprised because the book is out of print and very hard to find. -George Clinton signed one of my Pfunk cds and drew a smiley face with a -Had the chance to get Brice Marden's (famous contemporary artist) autograph, but passed because I think his work is kinda dull. I bought a used copy of In Cold Blood at a book fair for 50 cents or something and later found it to be a special edition signed and numbered by Truman Capote! I also bought a big collection of Prince stuff a while back which included Prince's signature on Paisley Park letterhead but I'm not sure if it's legit. (Didn't know that was in the collection when I bought the stuff.) Honestly, I can't get too excited about it because I didn't get to meet him, ya know? And I don't even know if anyone would buy it from me b/c I don't have its provenance. I'm not a huge fan of Capote like I am with Prince so I still think it's cool that I have the signed book, though.
