It's remarkably like Switzerland in Bariloche. It's full of ski and chocolate shops which besets the mountainous region. There's Joy In Expatriation.

You know, since some of us love to hear a good story about red wine & all:whistle2:

I went to a couple of wineries in Mendoza (the heartland of Argentinian wine) as you might have gathered from my pics. And it was smoooooth, no? And the beef is unreal. I used to eat a lot of Argentinian beef when I lived In Miami Beach many years ago. Sooooo yum. Where I live now in Europe, the quality of the beef is equivilent to an old shoe (it was explained to me they had a cow issue some years back that acounts for why we have crappy steaks, overpriced leather handbags, and ugly shoes). I'm only stuck with the options of paying a crazy amount of money to eat Argentinian imports, and beef from Peru. Even the most expensive German "entrecote" cannnot compare to a simple cut from South America. . You are quite lucky, my friend [Edited 9/26/07 1:47am]
