When picturing your imago what do you think of? http://dictionary.referen...owse/imago
1. Entomology. an adult insect. 2. Psychoanalysis. an idealized concept of a loved one, formed in childhood and retained unaltered in adult life. (variations on the theme also point to an idealized version in your mind of any human being conceived in early childhood.) For me: 1. Praying mantis 2. My imago is actually that of my mother when she was 30 years old. It still sticks in my head when I visualize the perfect parent, though in reality my own mother is no imago. That's not to say, she isn't perfect to me though. Love | |
