I was in the backyard of an old Thai house just as the morning was giving way to painfully bright and hot sunlight trying to avoid some chickens near a well. I could barely walk, and still fell when I did from time to time. I remember my cousin (who is one year older than me), being shown how to blow bubbles.

On the commercials they were making cars and people. I could only make a....a....nothing! Making lego ppl is not that hard. You just have to put the head on, you know? All I had was the mouth. A happy smile, then turn it upside down to make a frown "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

Ex-Moderator | I was barely two and I was at my aunt and uncles house. I was with my brother and cousins and climbing on the back of a hide-a-bed and jumping off onto the mattress and I fell off the bed and sliced my head open. I remember my aunt's lavendar bathroom, that she smelled like jasmine, and my aunt and mom holding me above the sink to try to wash it out. I remember lots of silver drawers in the operating room. I remember I kept asking my aunt where my mom went and she kept telling me she was in the bathroom. I remember wondering why the heck she would leave me to go potty. Years later I asked my mom about it and she said she simply couldn't take watching me cry and in so much pain. I remember the doctor trying to keep me talking and telling him about feeding my aunt's dog a donut that morning (I was very scared of dogs). When we were ready to leave, the doctor pulled a milkbone out of his pocket for me to bring back and feed the dog. |

I remember rushing towards a very large egg-like thingy,
and once I reached it, yelling to all of my fellow spermoids to "Bite me, you slow-moving suckas....!!"

What a memory! Funny how the first recollections are often connected with bad experiences. It's also interesting how well our brains record scents from childhood. I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

I was looking around a crib, I think, and I don't think I was at home. I feel like maybe I was at a relative's.
I remember breaking my arm at 3 years old, and I remember preparing for my 4th birthday party. My Legacy

the summer after i turned three. a bunch of little snippets.
- 5 of us lived in a two bedroom house. so at 3 i still slept in the crib in my parents room. i remember waking in the morning and letting the crib down all by myself. - i remember playing house in the attic with my two sisters - i remember refusing to eat anything except jam sandwiches (and the red folding door into the kitchen) - my eldest sister got married. i remember liking my long pink dress and putting confetti on her head - i had gotten a doll carriage the christmas before. i remember walking it down the road from the house to the highway but getting scared to go any closer about halfway down. - we were renovating my grandparents house and moved in that december. but in the summer i remember the painting and building that went on. - i remember the home made swing in the yard seeming huge and scary
