btw, I thought you didn't like X-Files. Starting to change your mind?

I played some X-Files for her and she is HOOKED!!!

She was telling me that she hated the X-Files... I popped in an episode... she watched it...

She said... "It was okay... I guess..."

I said, "Okay, what do you want to watch now?"

She said, "you can play another episode of X-Files if you want."

She kept wanting to watch the X-Files and finally admitted to liking it!

A CONVERT!!!

Loved that show. I'm a serious fan of David Duchovny. He's a Freaking Trip! His work is so Funny. I like the series and Gillian is really good also.

Way to go! You da man! What episodes did you show her?

I can understand not liking it if you haven't seen it much. It can be hard to follow and it's usually ultra serious. But once you understand the characters and the style of the show, it's super addictive. I love it!

I suffered through the last two episodes and decided to take a break. Did you know they were on Wednesday's too, from 7-11?

Yup. I love the mini-marathons.

And please. You know you secretly loved it. I don't think you would've put it on if it involved suffering. Would you? Heather's a closet fan! nana

Really... I suffered through it! Over 200 channels and nothing else was on... seriously... I had to watch it!

Sometimes a little coaxing is all that is necessary. For some reason, I had the notion that X-Files was a Star Trek kind of show, which doesn't appeal to me at all. My bro exposed me to it though, and I love it now!

I'm glad. I love sharing it with you. And I loved how you insisted we watch it at the end of summer so many times.

You were exactly the opposite of Scott. You liked the plots right away but couldn't get into Mulder and Scully. He liked them right away but had trouble following a lot of the storylines. Both of you overcame those barriers. smile

I agree. It had been forever since I'd seen it and I love that one. I like when it's been over a year cuz I forget so much of what happens. A lot of times I'll watch even if I know it inside and out. I'm an X junkie.

I've only seen a few episodes, but my favorite so far is the one with the brothers who had their mother under the bed. I'm not sure of the name of it.
