This week’s game versus the Bengals will mark the 17th time the twoclubs have squared off in the regular season with each team splitting the previous 16 games. The Seahawks have won six of the last nine dating back to 1989.

Seattle lost their only postseason meeting against the Bengals, 21-13, in the 1988 AFC Divisional Playoff Game played at Cincinnati. Aside from all four AFC West teams, Seattle has matched up against the Bengals more than any other AFC team.

At Cincinnati, Seattle has posted a 5-5 record. The first six games in the series were played at Cincinnati and Seattle was 2-4, but since 1989, Seattle has won three of the four games played on the road.

The last time the Seahawks played the Bengals was October 26, 2003. Seattle was off to their best start in franchise history with a 5-1 record heading in to Paul Brown Stadium. Former Seahawks quarterback Jon Kitna led the Bengals to a 27-24 upset with help from backup running back Rudi Johnson, who had 27 carries for 101 yards and a score.

Head Coach Mike Holmgren is 1-1 vs. Cincinnati while with Seattle. The Seahawks defeated the Bengals, 37-20, in his inaugural year as head coach on November 7, 1999 in the Kingdome.

What a crazy game. TD passes. Fumbles. Seattle Quarterback caught his own pass.
It was wild out there. But we won on the last drive. TD! Woot!

Way too many pics.

See you next week San Francisco.

Damm! man.. wtf'n deal! Duce is gone for the season. I think Peyton needs to give the gimmick plays a rest for a while, and play some straight up smash-mouth football. You think Bush can carry the load alone?

It's a bye week, they can re-group and turn the season around.

I don't want to see this anymore ->

I certainly hope they can turn it around.....and you're right! The Saints are trying too hard to be cute....instead of just lining up and straight up smashing faces.....I think that if RB cans all the dancing and runs the ball he'll come into his own....I don't think they should go out and try to get a Corey Dillon or Michael Turner, but having their agents on speed dial just in case wouldn't be a bad idea..... whistling

in any event, there will never EVER be a bag on THIS head.....unless she's really THAT ugly!!! lol

(note to wife, who's known to lurk: JUST KIDDING HONEY!!!) rose

Not a bad choice, if needed.

Peyton may comeback with a run-and-shoot offense, ya' never know how his mind works.

Yeah.....he would be a good addition...and he's put all that "team cancer" stuff to rest with his N.E. stint.....

I just want Payton to run an offense that WORKS....they've only scored 38 points this season....still haven't scored more in 3 games what Indy scored on them in the first game....and losing games back to back by the same 31-14 score means that DEFENSE is needed just as badly.....

...shit, at least I got LSU..... lol
