No, it isn't just you. Everyone feels that at some time or other. But here's what jolted me out of those doldrums:

We cannot change yesterday. We are not promised tomorrow. The only sure thing we have is TODAY.

So make the most of it!

That isn't the point. You can't change yesterday, and you are not guaranteed that there will be a tomorrow.

You only have TODAY. Knowing that, you will feel much better about TODAY (or RIGHT NOW, if you prefer) because it is the only thing you have that is (1) guaranteed; and (2) something you can affect.

Sometimes I like to compare life to golf. I never really focus on my score as a whole. I look at each hole as another opportunity to do something great.
