I had my last cigerette. The Chantix is working!

I go over to my mother home( she lives right across the hall from me in our apartment building, yes Im serious when saying that) and she was smoking but at the smell it almost literaly made me sicker then I dont know what. I had to leave immediately or I was going to get sick.

I do have cravings time to time, but to me its habit. Now, I grab a peice of gum or candy(both are sugar free), start doing things that I NEED to get done like "spring cleaning" bit, cleaning out the car(vacuuming and windexing, and car scents into the car). And the energy, WOW! Didnt know I had it! I can breathe easilier as well.

I recently heard that my aunt smokes 2 1/2 packs a day and doesnt leave her home, and never opens her windows. Grandma is going to suggest it to her as well.

I also thank those who threw those bricks at me(on the thread which I cant find at the moment).

I admit I slipped a few times during the first 2 weeks on the medication. The doctors said that might happen but to start again and keep taking the medication.

I also had to get the MRI done as well on me today(they had to re-schedule the last week of August because of construction at the MRI department). I wont get the results for that until the 24th of this month.

Its all around me at work( all the guys I work with,yeah I work with ALL men), they smoke. And I told them as well, DONT offer me one at all! Just tell me to grab a peice of gum and chew it till I cant chew anymore if I get frustrated, angry, or just plain bored.

Call me lame but by celebrating I bought car tattoos(tiger), a license plate cover(with red skulls on rose thorns), and a few things for the car as well.

My daughter thinks its "Awesome"(in her exact words), that mommy pimped the car out liked that lol.

Update:

Went to the doctor today for the results of my MRI(with contrast) and he said nothing has changed, so he wants me back in 6 months for a CT scan (with contrast) for yet another comparrision.

Ill be so glad when Im done with these scans, I hate being stuck like a pin cushion.
