Most people don't eat it here anymore, but those of us that do, eat it around Christmas. I grew up with the tradition of eating it the day before Christmas Eve and we still honour that (half the family can barely even look at it though, and eat homemade meatballs instead).

When we prepare it, it looks a bit more like this:



Boiled potatoes, green peas, a white sauce and plenty of black pepper. It's actually pretty tasty.

Once a year is enough though.

I like most of the stuff on this thread. I mean, eggplant? Jellyfish is pretty tasteless but I definitely don't find it repulsive. Just reminds me of eating squid. Good with the right naam chim dipping sauce. I love liver too. I eat a soup for breakfast a couple of times a week with liver, kidneys and cubes of boiled blood in it. I eat all the 'weird' shit here, except chicken feet and insects.
