When the Rewards outweigh the Work!! Most of you know I teach and work with the youth right. So here is one shining example of how my passions pay me dividends!
Last night I spoke to a former student and she told me for thirty minutes how she is now a Junior in College and actively involved in so many socially conscious organizations, will be studying in South Africa next semester, did an internship for a mortgage company that gets homes for the underprivileged, and wants to travel the world to get a keener perspective on the world and Amerikkka! I had so much joy and adulation welling up inside me, I shed a tear! I love my job!! The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

Those types of rewards are immeasurable  ...that's gotta resonate deeply, it would with me. Everyone we come in contact with helps shape who we become, but it's rare that we get to see exactly how. I envy you that feeling...  | |
