Hmmm, not much, although it does ring a bell... For more than a century, Bahá'í communities around the globe have been working to break down barriers of prejudice between peoples and have collaborated with other like-minded groups to promote the model of a global society. At the heart of their belief is the conviction that humanity is a single people with a common destiny. In the words of Bahá'u'lláh, the Founder of our Faith, "The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens." Bahá'u'lláh taught that there is one God Who progressively reveals His will to humanity. Each of the great religions brought by the Messengers of God - Moses, Krishna, Buddha, Zoroaster, Jesus, Muhammad - represents a successive stage in the spiritual development of civilization. Bahá'u'lláh, the most recent Messenger in this line, has brought teachings that address the moral and spiritual challenges of the modern world. But I could be wrong. heh [This message was edited Sun Oct 6 13:38:25 PDT 2002 by 2the9s]

I think the Bhahai believe there should be one world government representing all the people of all different countries/nationalities, backgrounds, race, sex, etc ... basically just every living human being. i also think that they see the UN as a serving model for this world government. But I could be wrong - edit I think...heh [This message was edited Sun Oct 6 15:03:10 PDT 2002 by Abrazo] You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.

A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti... "I've just had an apostrophe!" "I think you mean an epiphany..."

I took the test again (a year later) and my number one stayed the same, but my second was different:
1. Bahá'í Faith (100%) 2. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (99%) 3. Liberal Quakers (94%) 4. Unitarian Universalism (90%) 5. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (81%) 6. Orthodox Quaker (81%) 7. Sikhism (79%) 8. Mahayana Buddhism (72%) 9. Hinduism (72%) 10. New Age (71%) 11. Reform Judaism (71%) 12. New Thought (69%) 13. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (69%) 14. Jainism (69%) 15. Theravada Buddhism (67%) 16. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (65%) 17. Orthodox Judaism (64%) 18. Taoism (63%) 19. Neo-Pagan (62%) 20. Scientology (58%) 21. Islam (57%) 22. Seventh Day Adventist (54%) 23. Secular Humanism (54%) 24. Jehovah's Witness (50%) 25. Eastern Orthodox (46%) 26. Roman Catholic (46%) 27. Nontheist (33%) Interesting stuff. I encourage every1 2 take it. U dont have 2 convert 2 the faith they say u r, but it certainly makes u think about ur beliefs, and makes u open 2 other spiritualities/religions.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown
