Jobsworths

Are you a 'jobsworth'? I mean in the sense that you take your job far too seriously and literally. Who is your works' jobsworth?

I remember being in Rome Airport and me and my friend bought a couple of beers and sat down in this resteraunt. This guy wandered slowly up to folks and said that drinks alone could not be consumed in the resteraunt and we must leave and stand near the cantine! Whats the point?!

They never call him that in the American versions. He's just referred to as Sir Topham Hatt.

Too offensive to their audience I guess. lol

asked that we use the microwave or only use the oven if more than two of us want a baked potato, and if we're cooking can we not cook food with strong odours.

the next morning two of us cooked a seafood omlette just to piss her off

I used to work in a 7-11 when I was in a student and we were advised as staff to charge 5p for a plastic bag no matter how big or small the collection of items the customer brought to the counter. I think that was a bit off really. Petty capitalism.

Oh yeah, they're very popular. Some places have even extended their opening hours to 24hrs.
