Are Saturns good cars? Does anybody have a Saturn or know someone who has a Saturn? As some of you may recall, I am under Chapter 13 (only 4 more years to go!) and buying a car is an absolute bitch. We are pretty much relegated to these kind of second tier places that buy cars off of auctions. There is a 2005 Saturn Stryker at one of these places for 14 K and it has what where looking for (three rows of seats, CD and DVD player) but it also has 52,000 miles. We need a car to last us at least 3 or 4 years and are planning on buying a new car once the Chapter 13 plan has been completed.
Are Saturns reliable? Do they break down a lot? I just don't know a lot about cars. All good things they say never last...

I rented a Saturn about 4 yrs ago. I fell in love with it. Nice smooth ride.
An old friend of mine bought one. She loves it. The customer service is good I hear. [Edited 9/14/07 9:18am] "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

The only bad thing is that they have a bad resale value. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits"

The only person I know that currently owns one has driven it over 150,000 miles with no major problems.
I'm going to buy a Saturn Sky next summer, so I'm down with the Saturns. Ask the dealer for a history report on that car. That'll tell you what has been done to it. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

I draped my body over it We would love to get a Honda or a Toyota mini-van but we are severely limited in where we can shop due to the Chapter 13. They had a 05 Toyota Sienna at this same place and we fell in love with it until we found out that it had 80,000 miles on it and smelled like monkeys had been taking it for joy rides on day trips from the zoo, All good things they say never last...

We figure we'll have to take a hit on resale but we're having to live very much for the moment right now. All good things they say never last...

Now they have a Mountaineer for the same price, 2004 though instead of 2005. I wonder which would be better. All good things they say never last...
