Beauty IS THE beast True or False?
Following my earlier thread, I wanted to start up a new topic. Do you find we are more tolerant to beautiful people acting selfishly than your more average looking joe/josephine? Let me explain: How do some gorgeous looking people get away with alot more and we tend to "allow it" ? This could be about dating a hot guy or girl or in the workplace also. I find this happens alot in society. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

Selfish is selfish - no matter what looks you are wearing
I agree society may "allow" more from "pretty" ones anyway selfish is selfish -- and really ya know that's NOT always a bad thing

Yes, hot people get away with more than the average Joe/Jane does.

But why? We are all grown up and intelligent so why do we bend over backwards for someone hot when they just say pretty please, and others we just will shrug them off. Now that sounds like me being a bitch too. It's a catch 22 situation. Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

The sky is blue. The grass is fucking green. It is pretty obvious, but I also read that if attractive people screw up, then they're suddenly judged more harshly than others, and although it makes sense in a way, that part might not be quite as obvious.

Can you explain a bit more, please? Procrastination is the art of keeping up with yesterday.

Can you explain a bit more, please? There's not much to explain, I just read in a magazine that a "scientific study" had come to that conclusion. If I may guess though, then I think it probably has to do with the hate/love relationship people have with attractive people. We might look up to them in a certain way and therefore treat them better, but there's also often jealousy lurking underneath the surface, so when they screw up then that gives everybody an excuse to air the negative feelings that the jealousy has created. Just a theory.

Just a theory. Yup. I think that's about right.
