HereToRockYourWorld said: I have come to realize that I am not a creature of much routine.
I usually have a hard time dragging myself out of bed if I had to wake up via alarm. I usually have some coffee, at home with breakfast if I have time, or a latte out if I don't (soymilk in a latte counts as breakfast a lot of the time). Lately my sweetie has been cooking breakfast for me -- vegetables, and tofu or soy sausage -- which I appreciate, so I've been making more time for that. Sometimes I put on makeup and take a fair amount of time with all of the prettymaking, and sometimes I tie my hair back and throw on whatever clothes I was wearing the day before. Depends on my mood. I don't usually shower in the morning these days (I take a bath almost every night, and my current partner is a girl, so I don't have to shower manstank off in the AM I usually check email and the org in the morning, but not always, and I'm actually planning on removing the org from my mornings when school starts again. I'm no longer within walking distance of school, and the org tends to make me late, which isn't ok when I need to catch a bus. The only real constant is that it's best NOT TO SPEAK TO ME before about 9am. For SURE not before 7am. I can't deal with humanity that early. If something must be communicated to me, it's wise to place a cup of coffee within my reach, back slowly away, and return in 15 minutes, speaking softly and asking few questions. I am so very much a morning person it's unbelievable. |
