I always call my daughter Mo' Sherrie. I dunno how ya spell it, but the french thingie. And she responds to it. Well she loves music and she loves stevie wonder. So thats who we were listening to today. So, I let my kids sit on the counter while I cook and 'help' me. Well My sherrie amor or whatever came on, and she knew it before stevie even started to sing. She goes, Mommy THATS MO SHERRIE!!!!! And then starts singing along with LA LA LA LA LA LA AWWWWW. I've reached in darkness and come out with treasure
I layed down with love and I woke up with lies Whats it all worth only the heart can measure It's not whats in the mirror but what's left inside

Call her "ma cerise" - it's cuter.
It means "my cherry" (like the fruit, not your virginity).

It's 'Ma Cherie' and not 'mon cherie' as she is a girl and thus the feminine tense is applied. Cute all the same Dani There's Joy In Expatriation.

Moderator | That's really sweet Dani. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
