Tuesday Morning Thread!

So I'm starting again on a weight loss regime. I do it at the end of every holidays just before I get back to school to shake that summer flab. Most of the time I put on a marginal amount of weight over the summer, but I'm a paranoid, self-obsessed, narcisstic, self-conscious self-loather - so something has to be done. lol

Wish me luck. I've had a yoghurt for breakfast, not having lunch, and I'm having a small portion supper for dinner.

Also walking the 2 miles back home. nod - I would run but I hate the treadmill in our gym. I'll start the gym when I'm at UCL. In the meantime, walking, dieting, and maybe some push-ups/sit-ups before bed if I'm not too tired should help.

Oh, and no more beer in the evenings. no no no! - home-made ginger&lime tea (made from grated ginger, grated by no less than my own hand!) instead.

Let's do this! woot!

Fuck my metabolism. It's all for looks - not health. The health part comes when I've lost the weight I want. Hell, I bought a pack of fags so I can calm the hunger cravings while I lose weight. Once it's lost, dropping the fags again and starting weights. I do this every year.
lol

I end up nursing a small beer belly...I dunno - I guess no one's more self-conscious than yourself, right? But I lose all confidence when I feel fat and lethargic. My body loses any tone very quickly, and I notice. I want tone back. lol

There are far worse guilty pleasures - that's for sure.

Doing the best thing for you and your body should not make you feel guilty.

lol NO!

I know my body. It'll just remain as it is if I do that. to lose weight I have to stop so that I get a carbohydrate deficit, putting my body into ketosis which triggers lipolysis, stimulating weight loss. Then I can resume eating as normal, but carefully.

If his stomach is telling him he is hungry he should eat something even if it is something like a veggie or fruit.
I think that we have this mindset that we HAVE to eat...we should eat when we are truly hungry.
Not bored or stressed but hungry.
As far as motherly instincts...I have NONE when it comes to Spooky... giggle
