It won't make the org load quicker, but it will make your computer much faster. Good decision. I think everyone should have 2GB ram MINIMUM - then no one would complain about speed. smile

Not if their processor and video card suck as well, and they're using dial up on a modem. razz

Not saying that this applies to anyone here, but I'm just sayin'. smile

lol Yes, I just try to keep things simple. Most processors can handle anything today, providing they're dual core (which virtually every PC released for the last 1-2 years has been). As for video cards, not really necessary unless you're a gamer like I am (bioshock drool).

As for modems....what?! Wizards? Dragons? Knights?

Well I can tell you that ATi are handling Vista worse than nVidia. Just read online - people complaining about ATi far more.

Also, you know if you upgrade your graphics card that much, you'll also have to upgrade your motherboard...essentially you might as well buy a new PC.

ended up with a Nvidia in the end (7600GS 256mb)

Looking to get a new PC next yr should be long enough so that Microsoft can fix the bugs in Vista OS and long enough to save for the pc!!
