I guess because I have lived in Florida so long that the idea of leaving my shoes outside for roaches and spiders to crawl in them sort of freaks me out. I am all for taking them off and leaving them in the foyer perhaps. I usually take mine off soon after I enter the house. My ex-inlaws had a rule of no shoes in the house because she had very light carpet and did not want dirt in the house. It always seemed weird for us to stand outside and remove our shoes on the front porch but we did it because it was the rules. | |
